mommy bought me my first pair of tennis shoes this weekend and i wore them today!  i had trouble walking in them this morning but that’s because she put them on the wrong feet.    how silly!  once miss cherry got my shoes on right, i ran all over the place.  i didn’t try to take off my shoes all day!  not that i try to take any other shoes off…  i’ll walk around and climb on stuff no matter what’s on my feet.

this afternoon i ran all through the hallways at school and tried to go into the boys bathroom four times but everybody kept pulling me out!

i finally blew kisses today!  i’ve been stingy, only kissing my hand but not blowing them off.  now i’m sending kisses everywhere.  maybe you’ll get one.

there are all kinds of pictures i need to share… mommy is really slow at uploading them from the camera.

i’ve been walking lots of steps here and there on my own for the past few weeks.  if i want to get somewhere fast, it’s a lot easier to crawl, but walking is pretty cool.  yesterday we went to get pictures taken, and i got to walk all around the studio.  there’s lots of space to walk and new things to see!

mom and dad took me on an easter egg hunt saturday.  i wasn’t really sure what was going on, but i got the hang of it.  i found TWO eggs!  and they had stuff inside!  i had fun playing with the eggs.

mom says that i have an easter basket upstairs in the attic, but it was too heavy for me to carry.  maybe next year!

my mom gave me a spoon today to eat dinner.  i know that the spoon holds stuff and i eat stuff from it, but it’s just easier and more fun to eat applesauce with my hands.   the spoon was nice to chew on though!

i think that oscar is going to be my friend.  he kissed me the other day, which was a first!  usually i just make him mad (probably because i pull his hair) and he barks or growls at me.  ra loves me though.  she jumps in my car seat when we get home and kisses me all the time.  puppies are funny.  i wonder if they like spoons.

i’ve decided to start taking some steps on my own, without any coercing.  i’m getting there.  pretty soon i’ll be able to walk all the time.

man, they are really trying to get me to walk!  can i not get around well enough on my hands and knees?

at school, miss cherry bribes me with cheerios.  i know what she’s doing.  that’s why i just fall on her when i get close enough.  you can’t trick me!

i love shoes!

i eat all kinds of stuff now.  mandarin oranges are yummy!  i try lots of new foods at school.  i’ve had hamburgers, chili, fish, pizza, french fries… hooray for school lunch!  we went to a baby shower yesterday and mommy wouldn’t let me have any cake.  she said i couldn’t have any until my birthday.  how mean!  she did let me have a taste of frosting though.

i took one unassisted step today.  i’m almost walking!  i just can’t get that other leg around.
