eat your heart out, olivia newton john!

mom got me these cool leg warmers.  i have some thanksgiving ones, but i also got some brown/pink/white argyle ones and some green/white striped ones.  they’re pretty awesome.  they’ll be great when i start moving around, which could be any day now.  i’m five months old now, so i need to get a move on.

updates!

green beans are yummy!  i had them for the first time today.  i have been eating rice cereal, but it’s not as appetizing as my bottle.  this green stuff has flavor!  i keep staring at all this stuff that people keep putting to their mouths, but nobody gets the hint. at least i can hold my own bottle now.

i’ve been rolling all around at school.  i have the floor to myself when everyone else is sleeping.  it’s great!  i also got to vote with mom in this election.  i must be good at this voting stuff because my candidate won!  diapers for everyone!

hooray - i voted!

i like to help mom with speech stuff.  i went with her on saturday to a tournament!  i’m the team mascot.  it was super fun.  i met all kinds of new people who played with me and went on walks with me and fed me yummy bottles.  mommy’s friend molly said my outfit looked like an 80’s workout video jumpsuit.  that’s a good thing, right?  i thought i looked cool.

my first halloween

my mom loves halloween.  daddy says he hopes i’m like her.  dressing up is kind of cool.  i was a bee for halloween, which is apparently a popular costume.  at mom’s speech tournament, i showed up in my costume, and she was a bee to match me!  then, when i showed up in by bee costume for school, there were two other little girls dressed up as bees too.  if only i could have been as creative as darren who was a loaf of wonder bread…

we went to a jack-o-lantern walk.  boy was it cold outside!  the bee costume was warm, but i much would have preferred to stay inside!  it was late and i was tired.  there were some cool pumpkins, but the walk was very long.  i wanted to be snuggled up with mom and dad, so i was very vocal about not staying in my stroller.  i know how to get things done.

thanks for the cool onesie, lora!
